How do I explain to my mam that sensory issues aren't something you can "get over" or "fix"?

Have the same problem. Can't change my parents. I hope I would stay alive till I become financially independent. Being non gifted autistic makes even being on own impossible. Just pray I get hit by a truck or world war 3 broke out. Sometimes resistance is futile.
